IARA Roundtable — January 21, 2004
IARA will hold the fourth in its highly acclaimed Roundtable Series in Las Vegas, NV at the Mandalay Bay Hotel. The meeting will be held in conjunction with the CAR meeting and is free for all CAR attendees. Click here for details.
All Member Meeting Download Available
Results from the All Member Meeting held in Salt Lake on October 2nd are available for viewing in the meeting section with a power point viewer. All committee reports were presented for their annual review.
In addition, the election of officers was held with the following slate approved for 2004.
- President -- Dave Langley
- Vice President -- Steve Houston
- Secretary -- Mike Antich
- Treasurer -- Jean Hitterdal-Rosati
Remarketing Survey in Progress
The IARA has agreed with Emercent Solutions of Chicago, to conduct a telephone survey of remarketers to gain a better understanding of the upstream remarketing being conducted today.
Emercent will be contacting a cross-section of the major remarketers over the next several weeks. The telephone interview will consist of 20-30 questions. The goal is to gain a more definitive picture of the upstream remarketing activities and to see if there are any patterns developing.
The results will be discussed as a Roundtable item at the January 21st session at the Mandalay Bay Hotel in Las Vegas.
IARA Accepting Nominations for Remarketing Industry Recognition Award
The International Automotive Remarketers Alliance is accepting nominations for the IARA Remarketing Industry Recognition Award and its Circle of Excellence Award.
IARA's Circle of Excellence Award is presented to the individual who clearly demonstrates outstanding contributions to the betterment of society and to the remarketing industry.
The Remarketing Industry Recognition Award gives special recognition for an individual’s one-time outstanding contributions to the remarketing industry, as well as his or her community.
Award eligibility is open to individuals from all remarketing associated companies.
