IARA All Member Meeting—October 2, 2003

The IARA will hold its upcoming All Member Meeting in conjunction with the NAAA Conference and Equipment & Services Expo, Salt Lake City, Utah on October 2nd, 2003 at 4pm. The meeting will be at the Grand America/Little America Hotel. See NAAA Website at www.naaa.com for hotel information.

A Board meeting at 2:30 pm will take place prior. All members are invited to attend. Presentations will be made by the IARA Committees on their activities and plans.

IARA Elects Three New Members to Its Board of Directors

The International Automotive Remarketers Alliance (IARA) has elected three new members to its board of directors, which has been expanded to include 18 directors. The three new directors are:

  1. Layne Weber, director of vehicle remarketing for Donlen Corp., a fleet management company headquartered in Northbrook, IL
  2. Kent Pace, national remarketing manager for Toyota Financial Services in Torrance, CA
  3. Stephen Houston, vice president - remarketing for WFS Financial in Irvine, CA.

In addition, Dick Curtis, a partner with TPC Management Company, has assumed the board of directors' position previously occupied by Pierre Pons, president of TPC Management Company.

IARA Accepting Nominations for Remarketing Industry Recognition Award

The International Automotive Remarketers Alliance is accepting nominations for the IARA Remarketing Industry Recognition Award and its Circle of Excellence Award.

IARA's Circle of Excellence Award is presented to the individual who clearly demonstrates outstanding contributions to the betterment of society and to the remarketing industry.

The Remarketing Industry Recognition Award gives special recognition for an individual’s one-time outstanding contributions to the remarketing industry, as well as his or her community.

Award eligibility is open to individuals from all remarketing associated companies.
