IARA Tampa Remarketing Roundtable Conference Set for January 15-17, 2003

LOS ANGELES, CA – The next Remarketing Roundtable conference of the International Automotive Remarketing Alliance (IARA) is scheduled on Jan. 15-17, 2003, at the Hilton Tampa Airport Westshore in Tampa, FL.

The first Remarketing Roundtable conference, attended by 100 participants, was held in Denver on July 24-25, 2002. It featured three roundtable sessions focusing on three topics that are of primary importance for today’s remarketers:

  • vehicle inspections
  • reconditioning
  • marketing of a sale

In a unique format, each participant was part of a group, and each group rotated from one topic to the next throughout the three sessions. Moderators guided the discussions, giving all attendees the opportunity to discuss the topics in-depth in an intimate workshop setting.

The Tampa Roundtable will feature the following items as discussion groups:

  • Internet-Its role between consignor and auction
  • Alternative Remarketing Outlets
  • Ethics-gifts and gratuities, dinner and events, rebates to buyers and sellers

There will also be an on-site auto auction segment on Friday given by Billy Byrd of the Manheim Technical Center.

Mark your calendar and make plans now to attend.
