For over a year, the NAAA Standards Committee worked diligently to implement the new NAAA standardized certification program. The International Automotive Remarketers Alliance (IARA) worked closely with the NAAA to implement these standards and we are now seeing the results in the lanes across the country.
The standards have been adopted by many in the asset remarketing industry, including multiple IARA members. With these standards, auctions and buyers can be confident that there is now a common benchmark when comparing vehicles, whether in the lane or online. After just a few months of implementation, we are now seeing the benefits, with less confusion from dealers, more confidence in purchasing and an overall better sense of what to expect from certified vehicles.
